Job Description
The College of Education and Human Development at the University of
Nevada, Reno invites applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer
II / Teaching Assistant Professor position in the Counselor
Education Program to begin in Fall 2025. Responsibilities include
some or all of the following: (a) assessment director and/or
liaison for CACREP accreditation, (b) teaching graduate courses in
counseling, (c) providing clinical supervision, (d) providing
academic/track specific advising, (e) serving on master's and
doctoral students graduate committees, (f) engaging in
program-related grant writing, (g) serving as a core faculty team
member, (h) participating in counselor education program service
and leadership, (i) engaging in local and professional service, and
(j) serving on program, department, college, and/or university
level committees.

Program Information
The Counselor Education Program is housed in the Department of
Human Development, Family Science, and Counseling in the College of
Education and Human Development. The mission of the Counselor
Education Program is to educate competent, culturally aware,
ethical counselors who will provide exceptional services in both
public and private settings to meet the needs of an increasingly
diverse society. We offer three master's specializations (marriage,
family, and couples counseling; school counseling; and clinical
mental health counseling)
