The Interim Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health will report directly to the Director of Behavioral Health Services. Supported by a team of charge nurses, RNs and support staff, this person will lead an outstanding and busy Inpatient Behavioral Health Department. The Interim Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health will also work with the hospital staff and other leaders to maximize clinical care efficiency and address arising needs.
The Interim Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health will be in charge of developing and implementing departmental goals and standards that align with the clinical objectives, goals and values of the hospital. This requires evaluating departmental operations, and overseeing day to day activities of the team. In addition, the Manager is responsible for staffing and overseeing budgetary allowances for the department. Most importantly, the Interim Nurse Manager of Behavioral Health will be responsible for creating an environment that promotes positivity and excellent care. The department is also expanding to allow for care of adolescents as well, making the perfect opportunity to be a part of developing this new team.
