This position performs a dual function, clinical and managerial. Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinical setting, performs disciplinary actions, and participates in hiring and termination of staff. Communicates with physicians/Nurse Manager/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. -Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides direct and indirect patient care as necessary, assessing current patient care situations, priorities and needs.
• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
• Communicates appropriately and clearly to Nurse Director, co-workers and physicians.
• Assists director/manager with staff education and competency evaluation. Maintains documentation of these activities. Ensures staff participation in in- service programs. - -Benefits for full and part time employees:

    Qualifications
    
    Requirements: -
    • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Nevada.
    • Current POC Certificationwithin 90 days. -
    • Current BLS certification. -
    • Current ACLS certification (or must obtain within 6-months)
    • Cath Lab/IR experiance required. -
    • Willing to take call/standby. -
