Please ask about our generous referral fees!Coverage Needed:April 26 - May 2May 8 - 10May 17 - June 14Schedule/Shift times: 8a - 430pm with night call after 430pCall: Yes, but extremely rare to receive any actual phone calls or becalled in during call periodWeekends Required Setting: General Acute Care Hospital (Stroke Certified, not Chest Pain Center accredited, not a Trauma Level designation)Duties: Hospital Coverage, we have a need for a Radiologist to cover the Hospital which involves the IR needs along with Stroke CT's and other procedures/availabilityRequired Procedures: IR Procedures (Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Nephrostomy Tubes, Intra-abdominal abscess drainage, Chest Tubes, Suprapubic Catheters); CT/US Biopsies (Thyroid, Lung, Other), Barium studies, Lumbar puncturesEMR: CernerSupport Staff: Diagnostic Imaging (Radiology) Nurses and Techs; We do have a large Radiology group in Sacramento that performs overflow and after-hours readsReason for Coverage: Resignation of Radiologist Admissions Per Day: 12 - 15Patients/day: ED Daily Volume is 85 - 90 patients/day, Average Daily Inpatient/Obs Census is 50 patients (includes ICU and OB)Types of cases: Surgical, Medical, ICU, and OBBased on review of the last several months of volume, we would expect the following studies interpreted per day and procedures performed per day:TOTAL: 50 studies/day + 5-8 procedures/dayCT's: 15-20XRays: 15-20US's: 10MRI's: 5IR: 5-8 proceduresBoard Certified/Board Eligible - Required Active CA License - Required DEA, BLS - RequiredResidency Requirements/Fellowship - Residency RequiredCA Fluoroscopy required at submissionJoint and MSK scans are not required.
