Job Description:

A company is looking for a PB Coding Specialist I - Entry Level Coding.

Key Responsibilities

Coding and charging SCMG Clinical Services, resolving billing edits and denials
Abstracting medical record information in compliance with CMS requirements
Maintaining productivity and quality standards while collaborating with Patient Financial Services

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or GED
Graduate of an AHIMA Accredited Health Information Technology program or certification from AHIMA or AAPC
Valid Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification or equivalent
Ability to maintain required educational credits through AHIMA or AAPC
Preferred experience in professional fee coding with a Health Information Management focus
