• Hold active registries in cardiac and vascular ultrasound, or general and vascular ultrasound.

  • Renown Health has an opening for an Ultrasound Technologist (Outpatient) at Renown Regional Medical Center.
  • This position performs complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures specializing in two or more areas such as: Cardiac, Vascular, or General areas.
  • Ultrasound Technologists will follow established protocols and care standards to ensure improved patient outcomes.
    • Job Requirements
    • Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCS, or RVS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS, RVT, RDCS).
    • Must hold active registries in both cardiac and vascular ultrasound, or general and vascular ultrasound.
    • CPR certification upon hire. AHA BLS within 60 days of hire.
    • Minimum one-year clinical experience in the respective departmental required.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: Days, to be discussed during interview.
      • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40.
      • Call Requirements: To be discussed during interview.
        • Additional Details
        • Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
        • May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period.
        • Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract. This may be full or partial shifts.
        • The Region's Only Level II Trauma Center in Reno, NV.
